Processing of Ferrous Materials tailored projects

Highly trained human resources and a proven experience allow us to provide our customers with remarkably professional services in several areas, on the site itself: cutting, shearing, grinding, compacting.

cutting system

We design and manufacture manual (with oxy-fuel) or semi-automatic cutting systems for processing the very bulky scrap, which cannot be brought to the furnace as it is. At the Customer’s request, these systems may be fixed or mobile thus suitable for “processing runs”. The cutting procedures are required as a rule by steelworks to obtain furnace-ready scrap.

mobile shears

We can provide our customers with mobile shear systems, which are particularly suitable for cutting ferrous material when volumes are low and do not justify the costs expected for a fixed installation. The system allows to obtain furnace-ready scrap, with the further advantage of not producing waste during processing. This machinery is useful for shearing material that is not particularly thick.

baling shears

Design, supply and/or global management of fixed baling shear systems, directly at our customers’ facilities. They are particularly useful when it comes to process large and constant volumes of ferrous material.

baling-presses

To increase the density of the scrap, baling presses are used (both fixed or mobile systems). We are able to provide design, handling, assistance, and maintenance also in this specific processing area.

slag skull crashing

The slag skull crashing consists of a beating process by means of steel balls to reduce the size of the waste ferrous material. This operation also causes the detachment of the slag from the iron skulls, for a better cleaning of the recovery material. Thanks to our long experience, we are able to carry out this activity in complete safety, for both people and vehicles.
